• Green broke, with 30 days riding as a 2 year old and sporadic riding as a 4 y/o, 15 days as a 6 year old followed by periodic trail riding.  She's a "point and click" mare, and will go anywhere you point her. As of 2010, she does not neck rein (due to infrequent riding) but goes right along where she's pointed. I don't get to ride often, so haven't finished her, but she is the horse I ride when I do get to.

• Really well muscled, foundation and bulldoggy-built mare.

• Low-set hocks and strong hooves

• Branded on left hip

• Her head is what I'd change...I'd widen and shorten her ears and make her head more feminine to make it perfect if I had the magic wand in my hand.

• ~15 hh. 

• Did I mention her butt?  Well, it deserves a second applause.  Wow!

• Dandy had a vaginal tear with her first foal (grullo colt), which aborted early due to nitrate-poisoned well water. We rebred her, and that filly (grullo) the following year was sold and is in Europe. We have not bred her since, and have chosen to use her as our riding horse.

• In the spring of 2010, Dandy got into a large bale of pure alfalfa and had a laminitis episode. She recovered and is sound.

• Since I rarely get to ride and have young horses that need riding experience, I am considering offering Dandy for sale. Contact me if you are interested.
